About This Product

■Compatible with machines and furnaces. Amazing insulation paint containing 67% super ceramic

Hedge Coat is characterized by a heat-insulating paint made by mixing a large amount (67% of the total) of 7 types of special ceramics with a special acrylic resin. Compatible with machines and furnaces with substrate temperatures up to 150℃. The special ceramic contained in Hedge Coat is a hollow secondary particle that makes the paint lightweight, suppresses solid heat transfer, and suppresses air convection heat transfer by trapping air in minute spaces.

■Insulation effect

Achieves thermal conductivity similar to that of glass wool (0.04W/m・K) with a thin film thickness. Unlike glass wool, which cannot be effective unless it is thick, Hedge Coat can provide reliable effects with a thin film (2 to 3 mm). In addition, glass wool insulation loses its insulation effect when exposed to moisture (moisture), but hedge coat maintains its insulation effect without being affected by moisture.

・It is necessary to measure the substrate temperature in advance and understand the temperature distribution.
・Please wash the used tools with water.

Using an electric mixer, mix on low speed for 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture becomes stiff and whipped cream-like. (Ceramic particles break at high speeds.)

As approved by the Food Safety and Hygiene Inspection Department, completely harmless in terms of food hygiene.

Brush, roller, and spray painting are all possible.

Remove any floating film, rust, oil, or residue on the base using an electric sander or wire brush. Although the active film of the old paint film can be left behind, please remove as much rust as possible and keep it clean and dry.

Apply primer if necessary. If the base is in good condition, you can apply a thin layer (approximately 0.5 to 1 mm) of ``Hedge Coat'' as a primer.

A top coat is required if outdoors. Apply a water-based top coat.
(Enamo Top W Hals is recommended.)
