Overview

■New leader in packaging systems

Continuing the successful machine generation of the HSU series (Hot Seal Unit), ILLIG is setting a new standard in sustainable packaging with the HSU650 packaging machine. HSU650 is therefore another pillar of ILLIG's "paper" strategy in the "non-food" sector, contributing to the transition to paper pulp. Features

■Larger molding area, sealing area, and higher cycle performance

The new HSU650 packaging machine with enlarged forming area and sealing area enables higher product design with a size of 650mmx300mm. In addition, the number of units produced per cycle can reach up to 20, achieving high productivity. With a new servo motor drive, the HSU650 achieves a 30% improvement in energy saving performance compared to the previous model (HSA50d/HSU35b).

■High variety of uses

The packaging system's modular and open design allows for the integration of various peripherals, such as control systems, automatic feeding systems, and end-of-line (EOL) solutions.

■Constant and highly reproducible seal quality

The HSU650 packaging machine's sealing station provides constant, repeatable, and precise seal quality through precise sealing pressure adjustment and monitoring. Efficient heat supply also reduces energy consumption.

■Flexible carton-shaped unit

The new design of the HSU650's carton forming unit enables re-forming of carton hoods regardless of formwork. Optimized mold conversions are performed reproducibly with operator support and minimize machine downtime.

■Directional discharge of products

The packaged products are placed in various orientations onto an external conveyor with high precision and sent to subsequent processes. This allows the package to be tilted and rotated after being sealed.
