■Summary
The friction electrification experiment device is a device that collects static electricity generated when a belt and roller rub, and allows you to experience the phenomenon of an explosion when discharged in an explosive mixture. When a rubber belt is placed over the left and right rollers and rotated, static electricity is generated due to friction and separation between the rollers and the belt. The electric charge generated by the right roller is carried to the left side on a rubber belt, and the metal plate used to collect the current is charged with static electricity. The electrostatic voltage is displayed on the large electrostatic voltage indicator. By connecting the extracted static electricity to an explosion tube containing an explosive mixture, you can confirm and experience the explosion phenomenon. This device is used to observe the phenomenon of static electricity that occurs when liquid flows through pipes.
Experiment details: When the kerosene in the device is circulated by a pump, static electricity accumulates on the electrodes inserted into the tank. You can display the electrostatic voltage on a large electrostatic voltage display (sold separately), or check the explosion phenomenon by connecting it to an explosion tube containing an explosive mixture (sold separately).
