About This Product
■The built-in switch is a contact type and has high accuracy. No self-heating of the sensor part and no temperature drift due to temperature characteristics.
Our company handles the "touch probe series for machine tools" manufactured by Metrol. It can be attached to NC machines such as lathes, machining centers, grinders, special machines, and robots, and used for measuring, centering, and positioning of workpieces. When a contact is applied to a workpiece or table, a highly accurate ON/OFF signal can be output and input to an NC/PC device.
The touch probe is a contact sensor for on-machine measurement that improves the efficiency of setup work.
Automatically measures workpiece origin and dimensions after processing at high speed and with high precision. Mainly used for machine tools and robots to reduce setup time, prevent machining defects, improve cycle time, and eliminate dependence on expert experience and jigs.
There are two types of touch probes: wired and wireless, which can be selected depending on the installed equipment and environment. This sensor will be increasingly needed in production sites where efficiency and automation are required.
