About This Product

The M-series of the OSMONICS/DESAL brand from GE Water Technologies in the United States is a super hydrophilic product made of polyacrylic nitrile (PAN) with a diameter of 0.01 microns (molecular weight cutoff = approximately 20,000 MWCO). UF membrane element. The MW element uses a superhydrophilic membrane, which is different from typical hydrophobic membranes, to prevent fouling due to floating oil. Examples of uses for MW elements include oil/water separation, SS removal, and RO and NF pretreatment of process water.
