This is the most standard diamond abrasive used in the buffing process. Diamond abrasives are broadly divided into two types: polycrystalline and monocrystalline, and there are products with different diamond shapes. Polycrystalline diamond has high machinability and can shorten polishing time, making it suitable for all kinds of samples, but it is more expensive than single crystal. Monocrystalline diamonds are cheaper than polycrystalline diamonds, so they have cost advantages.
However, depending on the material, it may take too much time to achieve the required polished surface. When using diamond abrasives, a lubricating liquid is basically used together. By doing so, you can efficiently prevent buffs from becoming thirsty and save diamonds.
Since polycrystalline diamond has better machinability, it can also reduce polishing time. Compatible with hard materials.
