About This Product

■Summary

Galvalock is an insulock tie (cable band) that has excellent weather resistance, salt damage resistance, and mechanical strength, and is ideal for wiring construction near solar panel frames and galvanized steel plates. - For wiring construction of solar panels. - For preventing salt damage in coastal areas. - For wiring construction around outdoor galvanized steel plates. ・For calcium chloride countermeasures such as snow melting agents and antifreeze agents. ・Salt damage resistance has been proven through a combined cycle test, which is the closest to the actual environment. - There is almost no decrease in strength even after an accelerated weather resistance test equivalent to 20 years of outdoor exposure.

■Bush mount shape

Used for securing and bundling electric wires to chassis, panels, walls, etc. The head has wings, and after the panel is installed, the support wings expand and are fixed to the panel surface. Therefore, you can get a sense of stability after fixing. It can be easily fixed by simply inserting it into the hole in the solar panel stand frame, and has excellent workability. Made of 11 nylon, it has excellent weather resistance, salt damage resistance, and chemical resistance.

■Why is “Galva Lock” necessary?

In harsh environments such as those below, cable ties may be exposed to corrosion products (zinc chloride, calcium chloride, sodium chloride, etc.) around solar panel frames and construction steel materials (galvanized steel sheets, etc.) etc.) may be affected. ・Coastal area (flying salt from seawater) ・Snowy areas/mountain areas (snow melting agents, antifreeze agents), etc. The commonly used 66 nylon Insulok ties have low resistance to these corrosion products and may break due to solvent cracks*. Galvalock is a cable tie made from nylon 11, which has higher resistance to corrosion products (zinc chloride, sodium chloride, calcium chloride) compared to nylon 66.
