About This Product

Spectrophotometer dedicated to COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand). Adopts CODCr (dichromic acid method). A test tube heater (reactor) is used for measurement, but with the latest model heater (HI 839800N), heating time can be completed in 15 minutes instead of 2 hours previously.

COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) is one of the water quality indicators used as a wastewater standard for environmental standards for sea areas and lakes. It is divided into three concentrations: high concentration, medium concentration, high concentration, and ultra-high concentration, and special reagents are used for each concentration range. A device that is extremely useful for wastewater analysis in factory wastewater and environmental surveys.

The width is 142mm, making it more compact than the conventional HI 96 series.
■Hanna's unique verification function
By using Hanna's unique wavelength verification validator, customers can verify whether the detection value of the measuring device is within the standard value at any time. A convenient and reliable function that allows you to check the reliability of the measuring instrument. The wavelength verification validator contains three types of verification liquid: zero, 420nm, and 610nm. There is no "calibration function" to correct discrepancies in the numerical values of the main unit.
