■Mechanism of laser cleaning
Laser cleaning involves irradiating the object to be removed with a short pulse laser, which evaporates the object by absorbing energy. At the same time, plasma is rapidly generated on the irradiated surface, and the shock wave and thermal expansion pressure cause the object to be removed from the base material. This is a new cleaning method that uses a laser ablation phenomenon that causes peeling.
