■Non-prism ranging function
Non-prism distance measurement approximately 200m. Measurements can be taken even in situations where a prism cannot be installed directly, such as in difficult-to-access areas or areas with heavy traffic. For example, when surveying the current situation, it is possible to measure the height of a building or neighboring buildings without having to go to the measurement point.
■Using a prism to measure further distances
Of course, distance measurement using a prism or reflective sheet is also possible. The measurable range is approximately 800m using a simple reflective sheet. (Measurable range with STS reflective sheet RF-53 is approximately 600m) 1,800m with mini prism. When using a 1-element prism, measurements can be made up to approximately 4,000m. (during long-distance ranging mode)
■Selectable lineup
The TSS-200 series has models with angle measurement accuracy of 3" and 5". In addition, the minimum display is switchable for all models: 1”/5”/10”.
■Large capacity memory
It is possible to record and save approximately 50,000 measurement data in the internal memory. Data can also be input and output to a PC using an RS232C cable.
■Double-sided LCD display with backlight for Japanese display
Large, easy-to-read LCD displays in Japanese are placed on both sides of the main unit. In addition, the function key assignments can be changed, allowing you to call up frequently used functions with a single button.
■2 rechargeable batteries standard equipment
The power source uses a convenient rechargeable battery. Two sets are included as standard, so you don't have to worry about the battery running out.
■Pinpoint distance measurement with small diameter visible light laser
The laser is a pulsed laser that enables pinpoint distance measurement. With a laser point of approximately Φ15mm at a distance of 80m (when the light intensity is strong when selecting non-premium mode), the laser does not scatter, allowing accurate measurement even through fences, corners of walls, and manholes with shallow incidence angles.
■Reliable correction mechanism
The automatic correction mechanism detects the tilt of the main unit and corrects the altitude angle. Furthermore, the collimation mechanism corrects errors in the telescope sighting axis, ensuring highly accurate measurements at all times.
