About This Product

This is a premium polymer-modified asphalt type II with improved workability that uses a proprietary polymer dispersion control formulation. It can also be used at a lower mixing temperature, reducing the amount of fuel and CO2 required during the production of asphalt mixture, and shortening curing time, allowing for early release to traffic. It has been widely used on highways and airports.

■Uses proprietary polymer dispersion control formulation

Polymer modified asphalt type II (hereinafter referred to as modified type II) is used in heavy traffic areas, so durability is required. Polymers in asphalt begin to form a three-dimensional network at 100~140℃. Although forming a network improves plastic deformation resistance, it has rubber elasticity, which deteriorates workability. Granphalt ART has succeeded in controlling the dispersion state of the polymer and controlling network formation in the construction temperature range. Features

■Proprietary technology polymer dispersion control formulation

・Because it has excellent compaction properties, it has good workability even when the mixture temperature drops. - Reduces the occurrence of asphalt nodules. ・The area for transporting mixtures can be expanded. ・Performance is equivalent to general modified type II at temperatures below 100℃.

■Does not use medium temperature agent or softener

Significantly alleviates restrictions on pot life. The handling method is the same as the general modified type II.

■Original compounding technology using special asphalt

It has excellent plastic deformation resistance and water resistance.
