About This Product

A Teflon® insert hose (IF type) is a stainless steel flexible hose that has a Teflon® straight hose inserted into it (mainly the inner surface of a flange type flexible hose), and the flange surface is flared and the connection part is made of Teflon®. Utilizing both the strength of metal flexible hoses and the properties of Teflon® hoses, the wetted parts are made of Teflon®, so there is no pooling of fluid in the flexible hoses and fluid flows smoothly, making them widely used in food, chemicals, etc. The standard material for the flange is SS or stainless steel (SUS304), but it can also be made of SUS316 or other special materials. For 40A or more, only loose flanges are available.

■Our Teflon® hose has excellent pressure resistance, heat resistance, and high chemical stability.

Teflon® hose has high thermal and chemical stability, high mechanical strength, and other excellent surface and electrical properties, making it ideal for piping hoses for steam, oil (especially non-flammable oil), medicine, food, etc. It is most suitable as 1. Heat resistance Can be used up to 150℃. 2. Chemical resistance It has extremely excellent chemical and solvent resistance, and is not attacked by most chemicals and solvents, so it can be applied to all types of fluids. 3. Non-stick Since it is non-adhesive, it is easy to clean and there is little adhesion of high viscosity fluids, and the small frictional resistance reduces pressure drop, allowing smooth transfer. 4. Durability It has good chemical resistance and weather resistance, and is non-hygroscopic, so there is almost no deterioration and it can be used for a long time. 5. Electrical properties Among insulators, it has the lowest dielectric constant, high dielectric strength, and extremely high resistivity, and these electrical properties do not change over a wide range of humidity and frequency. 6. Odorless and non-staining Teflon® hose does not contain any plasticizers, maintains its purity, does not transfer odors, and is not extracted.
