About This Product

esCAD-sch is a circuit diagram creation CAD software. Great effects can be achieved by linking with the printed circuit board pattern design CAD software esCAD-pcb, but there is no problem when using it as a general circuit diagram CAD (used alone), and it has the following operability and functions.

■OrCAD Capture-like operability

The operability is similar to OrCAD Capture, the most common schematic CAD.

■ Creating a library by reading a text file

You can create a parts library by reading a "package file" written in text. It supports "package files" from Altera and Xilinx. You can also create a parts library by loading a text file with your own specifications and setting rows and columns.

■ One-click wiring start

With the cursor positioned at a location where wiring can be done, wiring can be started by left-clicking without selecting a command.

■ Powerful back annotation function

When modifying the pattern later using pattern CAD, a reference is attached to the part using the back annotate file that contains the modification information. Compatible pattern CAD is "esCAD-pcb" and "Cadlus".

■Data backup function

Even if this application is forcibly terminated due to unforeseen circumstances, it will go into data save mode immediately before that, allowing you to save the board creation data at that point. After forced termination, it will automatically restart, load the last saved data, and start up (this will be included in the next version). It also has a function to perform regular backups, minimizing the time it takes to recover data even if the OS itself goes down.

■Search function

You can search for partial string matches for all property texts.

■All pin editing function

esCAD-sch 6 Electro System Co., Ltd. When editing a parts library, you can display a list of all pin information that the library has. You can modify the pin number, pin name, signal type, etc. in that table.

■Password lock function

You can set a password lock when opening data. If you try to open a password-locked data file, you will be prompted to enter the password, and if the password does not match, you will not be able to view the contents.
