About This Product

■Ceramic secondary battery ideal for powering IoT devices

EnerCera is an ultra-thin and compact lithium-ion secondary battery. A semi-solid battery that uses NGK's proprietary crystal-oriented ceramic positive electrode plate has characteristics such as high capacity, high output, high heat resistance, and long life that are difficult to coexist with conventional lithium-ion secondary batteries. Due to its low resistance, it can store a small amount of power and supply large amounts of power when needed, making it ideal as a power source for energy harvesting and wireless space power transfer (WPT). A power supply system that combines these power supply technologies with EnerCera will create a maintenance-free IoT device that runs solely on natural energy and can be used repeatedly. EnerCera is a power storage device that combines the advantages of capacitors and lithium-ion secondary batteries, contributing to the realization of self-sustaining IoT in society.
