About This Product

■SummaryMicro Harmonics is an American manufacturer of high-quality mmWave products, including mmWave isolators, mmWave circulators, and mmWave variable voltage attenuators from 25 to 400GHz.

One of the features of the company's products is the industry's lowest insertion loss, with the WR-3.4 isolator achieving a typical insertion loss of less than 2dB in the 220-330 GHz band. We also carry low-temperature mmWave isolators that are ideal for low-temperature applications.

All isolators are intentionally designed with a tilted rectangular waveguide arrangement as part of a stepped twist design. However, it is designed to mate with standard waveguide flanges.

In Micro Harmonics' standard isolator configuration, the two flanges are collinear and oriented so that both the input and output waveguides are coplanar. Upon request, certain isolators can be configured with one of the flanges rotated 90 degrees.

This will give you a 90 degree twist while keeping the flanges collinear. Currently, we do not carry isolators with 90 degree bends. From January 2024, "M2" will no longer be added to the end of the model number. There is no difference in the product depending on whether M2 is included or not.

■FeaturesMicro Harmonics' cryogenic isolators are specifically designed to operate at extremely low temperatures. The ferrite rod is designed to ensure the 45 degrees of rotation required for the signal when cooled, and the neodymium bias magnet has been replaced with a samarium cobalt magnet that maintains its strength even at extremely low temperatures.
