About This Product
■Three distinctive technologies
・Lithium thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl2) for LS/LSH/LSP cells (3.6V)
・Lithium sulfur dioxide (Li-SO2) for LO/G cell (2.8V)
・Lithium manganese dioxide (Li-MnO2) for LM/M cells (3.0V)
■Stable high operating voltage
3.6V for LS/LSP cells, 2.8V for LO/G and 3.0V for LM/M cells.
■Wide range of current performance
Supports base currents of a few microamps to pulses of over 10A for LO/G and LM/M cells.
■Wide operating temperature range
-60°C to +85°C, dependent on cell, current and environmental conditions. LSH20-150 cells operate stably up to +150°C.
■Long storage life
Annual capacity loss of less than 1% up to 3% when stored at +20°C.
■Long operating period
Long lifespans are typically around 5 years, and in some applications can exceed 20 years.
■High energy density
3 to 10 times faster than non-lithium batteries.
■Excellent operation in high humidity environments
A sealed container that does not cause corrosion.
■Safety
Saft's lithium cells meet UL and IEC standards UL1642 and IEC60086-4 and are certified according to UN Transport Regulations. Most of our battery packs meet European and US military standards.
Some cells in the (Li-SOCl2) LS and (Li-MnO2) M and LM product areas have been independently evaluated for the relevant parts of IEC60079-0 and IEC60079-11 of the IECEx system. This allows its use in hazardous locations and applications with potentially explosive atmospheres.
