About This Product

An ultra-thin fluorine film of approximately 0.1 to 1.0 μm is formed by quick-drying at room temperature, and has excellent water and oil repellency, strongly preventing water, oil, liquid resin, etc. from repelling, adhering, and creeping up. Features

■Water and oil repellency

Forms an ultra-thin 0.1μm fluorine film that strongly repels not only water but also oil.

■Intrusion prevention

Prevents water from entering the joints of the housings and frames of smartphones, home appliances, and automobile parts.

■Crawling prevention

Prevents liquids such as water, oil, and resin from creeping up.

■Quick drying at room temperature

It uses a special fluorinated solvent and can be dried at room temperature. No forced drying required.

■Oil barrier property

Preventing lubricating oil from leaking from the motor bearing contributes to longer life and stable rotation. An extremely thin film (0.1μm) can provide sufficient effects and can be applied to ultra-small motors.

■Ultra-thin film

This series maximizes the water and oil repellency, which is the most important feature of fluororesin. If the film thickness is greater than the surface roughness, it can be used as an extremely thin film (0.1 to 1 μm) because it exhibits a high contact angle. For applications that require a high film thickness, we can accommodate up to 10μm.

■Application examples

・Prevention of micro motor bearing oil diffusion ・Flow-resistant driving pressure bearing (FDB) for HDD and cooling fan Prevents motor oil diffusion ・Preventing sealing resin from adhering to film capacitors ・Prevents flux from creeping up to mounting parts (connectors, electronic components)
