■The next generation Big Thing is now available in mass spectrometers!

The BTX is the latest generation of LECO's benchtop (BT) GC-TOFMS series. For the past eight years, the Pegasus BT Series has proven its reliability in laboratories tackling difficult matrices using non-biased and non-targeted analysis. Researchers from a variety of industries, including petroleum, life sciences, environment, pharmaceuticals, and food safety, are gaining deeper insight into the complex chemistries in their samples with the innovative Pegasus BT instrument. The Pegasus BTX retains its predecessor's innovative StayClean® ion source, incredibly fast full-spectrum acquisition speed, and five orders of magnitude dynamic range, all seamlessly controlled by ChromaTOF® software. has been. A novel ion path and detector design provides femtogram-level sensitivity in an extremely small footprint. Components that were previously difficult to detect even with sophisticated targeted GC-MS systems can now be identified using a rich mass spectrum. Despite technological innovations, LECO never compromises on equipment quality or robustness. That's why all new BTX systems come with a two-year detector warranty, a testament to LECO's commitment to ion path integrity.

Pegasus® BTX combines newly developed compact hardware with powerful ChromaTOF branded software to deliver high instrument performance and comprehensive data for daily analysis. It is effective in many fields such as food flavor and fragrance, metabolomics, chemical industry, and food safety. ・StayClean® ion source Release style EI sources require little to no downtime for cleaning. This allows you to focus on analyzing more samples. *The ion source did not require cleaning even after analyzing 3,000 sludge samples. ・NonTarget Deconvolution® (NTD®) Deconvolution allows you to obtain high-quality mass spectra without peak co-elution or matrix interference. ・Enhanced sensitivity and quantitativeness Using helium or hydrogen carrier gas, even trace concentrations can be detected reliably.
