Accident mitigation sonar system at low speeds uses up to 8 sensors to detect obstacles in front and rear.
This is a sonar system for buses and trucks that consists of a dedicated controller and ultrasonic sensor designed and developed in Japan with up to 8 channels.
The ultrasonic sensor element is a system designed and developed by a Japanese sensor manufacturer with a 60% global market share, and manufactured at our own overseas factory. The controller is combined with a dedicated ECU that incorporates a unique algorithm, and more than 10,000 units have been sold for trucks and buses in the 8 years since supply began.
■There are two types of basic system configurations.
・On-screen display type that can display the sensing distance by interrupting the back monitor
・Dedicated LED indicator display type
