About This Product

RAD-Moon 3 is the latest Ethernet media converter for automotive Ethernet applications. RAD-Moon 3 converts the physical layer of Ethernet from MultiG BASE-T1 such as 2.5/5/10Gbit to MultiG BASE-T. This is necessary to directly connect a PC with standard 8-wire Ethernet to an in-vehicle ECU or switch that uses 2-wire Ethernet, which is typical of automotive networks. (IVNs) RAD-Moon 3 offers a small, sturdy enclosure that's perfect for carrying in your laptop bag. You can connect a PC directly to the automotive ECU and perform simulations. RAD-Moon 3 allows you to simulate other vehicle nodes. You can simulate other vehicle nodes, run diagnostics directly, and reflash the ECU. By accessing* the MultiGBASE-T1 PHY's registers, you can directly control and monitor its operation and enable test and diagnostic modes.

-Uses Marvell 88Q4364 PHY with 2.5/5/10GBASE-T1 physical layer. ・LED indicator for intuitive operation -PHY configuration, link status, and network activity -MultiGBASE-T1's signal quality index (SQI) can be displayed as a bar graph in real time. ・Membrane button that allows device settings without software -Switchable link speed between 2.5G, 5G, and 10G -MultiGBASE-T1 PHY clock configuration selection ・Adopts H-MTD connection method designed for MultiGBASE-T1 ・4.5~40V power range, on-vehicle power supply from barrel jack - Robust USB Type-C connector for device configuration and firmware updates - Monitor and update PHY registers via USB using Vehicle Spy or Intrepid open source APIs
