About This Product

■Shred ribbon into chip size

GRASYS BIT is a shredder exclusively for ink ribbons. Micro-twisted cut technology cuts the ribbon while twisting it on the spot, making it possible to shred ink ribbons into chips as small as 2.5mm, which makes it impossible to recognize the characters. , it is possible to completely shred personal information such as names left on the ink ribbon after printing. It can be completely shredded on the spot before being disposed of, which helps strengthen security against internal risks.

■Easy to set

First, place the ink ribbon on the main body and set it by folding down the fixing bar. Next, fold the tip of the ribbon you pulled out and twist it slightly. Simply pass the tip of the ribbon through the guide and shredding insertion slot to complete the setup. The shredder is available in two types of shredding speed: normal and high speed.

■Easy disposal

If you set a 45 liter garbage bag in the dust box, just over 6 rolls of YMCKO ribbon (250 colors) will fill the garbage bag. Filled bags can be replaced and disposed of, so there is no chance of cut scraps scattering around. If you install the optional prefabricated expansion dust box frame, you can attach a 70 liter bag and store even more ribbon waste.

■Compatible with various sublimation ribbons

Compatible with various direct sublimation transfer ink ribbons and resin ink ribbons for printers other than GRASYS. Compatible with ribbon shaft widths up to 120mm, shaft diameters up to 80mm, and ribbon part widths up to 90mm. Laminated films and retransfer films using the retransfer method are not supported. These films do not contain personal information, so please discard them as they are.

■Safety

The ribbon insertion opening is not a slit, but a small, round hole with a diameter of just under 5mm, so there is no chance of ties or straps getting caught. However, please be careful not to get caught in long and thin items. If the shredder body is not properly placed on the bottom dust box, the power will be cut off and it will not work. Even if you lift the main unit while the shredder is in operation, or if the shredder falls over due to impact, it will stop operating, so it is safe.
