Induction melting furnaces are a modern and economical alternative to electrical resistance, gas, and oil type furnaces. Our technical solutions offer a wide range of possibilities.

■Features

-An essential advantage of induction heating is the stirring effect of the electromagnetic field. -The high power onboard the device quickly melts objects in the crucible while minimizing exposure of the molten metal to atmospheric oxygen. -Temperature control is equipped with a PID temperature controller with thermocouples mounted on the side wall of the crucible. This allows the melting process to be controlled without the use of graphite thermocouple covers. - After melting, the crucible is lifted by a pneumatic actuator and can be easily removed with pliers. -The melting furnace is equipped with a microprocessor controller with an LCD display, which allows control of operating parameters such as supply voltage and cooling water pressure, as well as settings, power, and temperature control. ・Various models are available depending on crucible capacity, crucible type, and output. - The crucible is embedded in a ceramic cover, which thermally protects the furnace chamber and prevents the contents from leaking to the outside if the crucible is damaged. -Ceramic cover is reusable. ・AFI-03/AFI-05 has a version with granulation function (AFI-03plus/AFI-05plus). AFI-03 and AFI-03plus (with granulation function) are widely used for recovering precious metals because the raw materials in the crucible are rapidly dissolved. The time from room temperature to dissolution is a few minutes. This is advantageous when melting metal scraps that contain large amounts of metals such as copper, which react strongly with oxygen, or metals such as zinc, which evaporate in large quantities at temperatures exceeding 1,000°C. - AFI-06/AFI-07 is a popular device in large-scale production plants and is used for chemical composition testing and sample dissolution for the browning industry.
