About This Product

The mass flow controller "SFC5500" series is the culmination of Sensirion's 20 years of experience in precision control of gas flow. The sensor is based on microthermal measurement principles and leverages our proven CMOSens® MEMS technology. This has allowed us to create a truly impressive mass flow controller with best-in-class performance and excellent reliability. Unlike other products on the market, this product does not drift and does not require recalibration on the market. Due to the wide flow control range that CMOSens® MEMS flow sensors can achieve, the "SFC5500" series can support multiple flow ranges of conventional mass flow controllers with a single product. Combining multiple gas calibrations and interchangeable fittings, the SFC5500 series is the first mass flow controller on the market to be available as a standard product suitable for a wide range of applications. Thanks to this versatility, the SFC5500 series is also the first mass flow controller available for purchase through catalog sales. The SFC5500 series complements Sensirion's SFC5xxx family of best-in-class mass flow controllers. This product boasts top performance equivalent to the SFC5400, making it suitable for a wide range of applications in medical, analytical, and industrial environments. However, unlike the "SFC5400" series, which allows advanced settings, the mass flow controller "SFC5500" series can be selected from standard pre-configured variations. If you require other gases, flow ranges, fittings, or interfaces, please select "SFC5400" or the highly cost-effective OEM-only "SFC5300". For those looking for a mass flow meter, there is the SFM5500, a sister product to the SFC5500 without a valve, which provides equivalent performance.
