About This Product

The SFA30 is Sensirion's new digital formaldehyde sensor designed for easy integration into air purifiers, demand-controlled ventilation systems, or indoor air quality monitors.

Based on our electrochemical technology, SFA30 has excellent formaldehyde detection performance with very low cross-sensitivity to other VOC gases. A temperature/humidity sensor on the same sensor module provides accurate humidity and temperature readings and uses these values ​​to perform a complete compensation. It then outputs the formaldehyde concentration calibrated at the time of shipment at ppb level.

Optional digital UART and I2C interfaces, standard electrical connectors and a variety of mounting options simplify product deployment. Sensirion's experience in environmental sensing and patented electrochemical cell with anti-dry technology provides the SFA30 with excellent long-term stability and a 6-year product life.  

 In addition, SFA30 complies with the relevant sound building standards RESET® and WELL Building Standard™.
