About This Product

■The TDOT system and Riegl laser unit were integrated to create a high-performance laser scanning system.

It combines our proud drone-mounted laser scanning system "TDOT" with RIEGL's "VUX120," which has an amazing performance of up to 2,400,000 pulses and 400 lines per second. Utilizing the high-performance GNSS/INS navigation system that characterizes the TDOT series, a seamless process from flight to data output is realized. The long-awaited high-end laser scanner system "TDOT 7 NIR-S" has been born.

■ Built-in high-performance GNSS/INS composite navigation system that measures the drone's position, attitude, and direction with high precision and improves the data output rate to achieve higher surveying performance.

Laser surveying requires calculating tens of thousands of times per second how long it takes the laser light to return from the target. At that time, the position to be irradiated with the laser beam is measured using GNSS, but this can only be done a few dozen times per second, resulting in a large error in the position of the target. It also causes a positional shift equivalent to the measurement error of the laser beam irradiation angle multiplied by the distance to the target object. Therefore, the farther away the object is, the less accurate the coordinates of the object can be determined, even if the error in the laser beam irradiation angle is small. Therefore, we use an accelerometer to capture the drone's movement, and a gyro sensor to detect the drone's ever-changing attitude. The combination of these IMUs (Inertial Measurement Units) and GNSS is called a GNSS/INS composite navigation (inertial navigation) system, and by leveraging the strengths of each, a highly accurate surveying system is completed. The TODT series INS has the specifications to achieve highly accurate measurements of several tens of millimeters while irradiating laser light tens of thousands of times per second.

■2.4 million ultra-high-speed laser modules

VUX120 has a scan speed of 400 lines per second. In addition to being able to scan at faster navigation speeds than before, the beam is continuously irradiated in three directions: nadir, +10° forward, and -10° backward. As a result, survey data that captures the entire structure can be used to capture objects that are difficult to measure using conventional lasers, such as vertical surfaces of buildings and structures, or narrow valleys made of steep cliffs. enables the acquisition of
