About This Product

■BAG IR cut filter

BAG stands for [Blue Absorbing Glass], and BAG IR cut filter is our original product. By creating a layer that absorbs infrared rays on transparent glass, it has optical performance that is less dependent on the angle of incidence. IR cut filters are increasingly adopting absorption types instead of the conventional reflection types. Features of BAG IR cut filter

■Oblique incidence characteristics

Excellent color reproducibility due to little shift due to incidence angle dependence. It is also ideal for when you want to shoot a wide area at close range with a wide-angle lens, or for improving or solving ghosting and flare on existing cameras. In addition, it is effective when you want to design a module with a reduced height as applications become thinner (lower profile), smaller, and lighter. Since it is a glass type, it has better heat resistance than a film type, and does not affect image distortion due to sensor heat.

■Infrared sensitivity

We can propose and provide filters that are compatible with image sensors sensitive to the infrared region, such as RGB-IR and RGBW compatible image sensors.

■Application examples

Thinner wide-angle (360 degree) cameras and countermeasures against ghosts, thinner dome-shaped security cameras and higher resolution, countermeasures against color differences between images in 360 degree cameras, etc.

■BAG IR cut filter product/sample list

1. All of our BAG IR cut filters feature low shift. 2. The thickness of each product is the standard thickness available. 3. All products and sample thickness can be made according to your request. (Thickness is from 0.1mm to 1.1mm, please contact us for other thicknesses) 4. Even if the thickness changes, the optical properties do not change.

■Absorption type (BAG type)

Our absorption type IR cut filter (BAG filter) is a reflection type IR cut filter coated with an infrared absorption layer, and has optical properties and strength equal to or higher than conventional BG (Blue Glass) types. It's a filter.

■Anti-reflective coating (AR coat)

AR coating is a coating that uses alternating layers of low-refractive materials and high-refractive materials to suppress reflection and improve transmittance through interference phenomena. Helps increase light transmittance and prevent glare.
