About This Product
■Summary
The gloss monitoring device GR series is a device that optically measures the surface gloss of the inspection object that is continuously produced on a sheet without touching it, and monitors and continuously records this.
Features
■Calibration is just a push of a button and a turn of a dial.
Calibration ⇄ Measurement optical system automatic switching system eliminates the troublesome work of attaching and detaching calibration standard plates. Standard plate calibration can be easily performed even while the production line is running.
■Further improved long-term stability
The GR-2 type also had a reputation for long-term stability, but the newly developed F-type double beam system has made it even more stable. (24-hour maximum fluctuation range within 0.3 "Standard plate")
■Large measurement area
The large measurement area reduces the effect of sample flutter, which is unavoidable in non-contact measurements, and provides stable measurement values.
■Highly compliant with domestic and international standards
Compatible with a higher standard than the GR-2 type. (ISO, JIS, ASTM, DIN, TAPPI)
■Notification with alarm signal
The detection signal can be extracted and used as a control signal for a regulator that adjusts the gloss of the product. (Optional)
■Applications
1.Aesthetic gloss management
Gloss control on continuous production lines for paper, plastic, rubber, metal, glass fiber, etc.
2, Functional gloss management
- Low-gloss management of materials used for car dashboards, etc., to prevent glare from causing problems.
・Managing the gloss of building exterior wall materials to prevent dirt from adhering to them.
3. When evaluating other characteristics by changes in gloss
- When evaluating stains, dirt, rust, scratches, wear resistance, etc.
・Roughness control of matte finish by sandblasting etc.
・Management of latex application amount.
