About This Product
■Summary
True Gloss GM-26PRO is a "26°, 60° specular gloss meter" that meets a high level of domestic and international standards such as ISO, ASTM, and JIS. This device can measure with high precision, has excellent reliability, has a compact design that integrates the detection part and indicator part, and is lower in price than the conventional product (our GM-26D).
Operability has also been improved, and measurements can be performed more efficiently by simply placing the sample on the instrument. The newly developed GM-26PRO/Touch is even easier to use with one-touch automatic calibration, average measurement, and external output of measured values.
Purpose
■Aesthetic gloss management
Gloss management of all kinds of materials such as painted surfaces, resin molding, paper, tiles, metals, plated surfaces, stone polishing, interior and exterior materials for automobiles, aircraft, ships, and buildings.
■Functional gloss management
Evaluation of the performance (stain resistance) of exterior wall materials of automobile parts buildings such as wipers, and the plating and polishing surfaces before and after cleaning, with the aim of preventing glare from interfering with driving.
■When evaluating other characteristics based on changes in gloss
Evaluation of contamination, rust, scratches, wear resistance, etc.
■Features
- Errors due to instrumental differences are kept to a minimum, and data can be shared with the conventional product (GM-26D).
・The measurement area is large, same as the conventional product (GM-26D), Φ20mm for 20° and approximately 14x22mm for 60°, so there is little influence from uneven sample location and stable measurement values can be obtained.
- Even after changing the measurement angle from 20° to 60°, there is no waiting time for the lamp to stabilize, allowing you to start measuring immediately.
・There is no longer a need to adjust the position when replacing the lamp.
- The indicator and detection part are integrated, making it more compact and improving operability.
・GM-26PRO/Touch's external output (RS-232C) can be directly output (printed) to a small printer. The data to be output is the index, measured value, and average value. It can also be connected to a personal computer.
