About This Product

The first direct-scan laser tracker bridges the gap between point-by-point measurements and advanced laser scanning at a scale previously only possible with ground-based laser scanners. The Leica Absolute Tracker ATS600 provides large-scale direct measurement capabilities with three times the accuracy of leading terrestrial scanners, and integrates the entire measurement process within an established metrology workflow. Measurement results do not require post-processing and are immediately available in the field. Based on established technology used in high-definition surveying tools, the ATS600's Enhanced Wave Form Digitiser combines time-off flight and phase-shift measurement techniques to enable long-distance measurement without placing a target at the measurement point. Achieves high-speed measurement. For the first time, the accuracy of this technology has been refined to a metrology level, allowing non-contact measurement of range noise to within 80 microns (1σ), which is significantly more accurate than measurement systems based on WFD methods.

■Large scale power

The ATS600 range is fundamentally different from all comparable measurement systems. Direct scanning is guaranteed with metrology-grade accuracy within 300 microns at distances of up to 60m from the tracker.

■Measurement workflow

Direct scanning is fully integrated into the metrology workflow, and all measurement data is collected at speeds up to 1,000 Hertz and quickly provided to the metrology software.

■Simple operation

Measurement is a simple, one-user process that allows you to easily identify targets and efficiently process results. Enhanced features include precision and productivity, from uniform grid scanning to high-resolution zoom to panoramic imaging and line and ring scan profiles.

■High-speed measurement

The freely configurable data density allows you to adjust the speed and accuracy level of the measurement process to suit your needs, from fast checks of 10 seconds/m2 to high-accuracy scans of 135 seconds/m2.

■Automatic control

ATS600 is designed with automation in mind. It can be configured to perform many repetitive measurements independently with minimal operator intervention and station relocation.

■Selection in grid units

The ATS600 works on the principle of selective scanning; by means of an overview camera or CAD data, the user defines the measurement area and the required measurement point density. Together with the 3D orientation data, a uniform grid accurately represents the entire measurement surface. Point results are provided.
