■Equipped with depth mappingⓇ function
This function uses depth information from the fish finder and GPS location information to depict the seafloor topography on the map on the screen. By depicting seafloor relief that is not represented on standard maps, it becomes easier to find great fishing spots.
Based on the obtained depth data, the seafloor topography is displayed in different colors.
*The Depth Mapping® function is a function that estimates and displays the seafloor topography based on the depth measured while driving. The actual terrain may differ.
■Built-in GPS antenna
HE-8S has a built-in GPS antenna for both built-in GPS and external GPS models. (When using the built-in antenna, reception may not be possible depending on the installation location and method.) ■Bright bonded LCD screen with high viewing angle
The display has an extremely high resolution of 640 x 480 dots, allowing you to clearly see detailed reactions and text. In addition, the use of a high-brightness liquid crystal display (1,000 candela) makes it highly visible in bright places such as direct sunlight. Furthermore, the use of a bonded liquid crystal improves the visibility of the liquid crystal and prevents condensation.
