About This Product

■Main uses

Color management of resin parts, automobile interior parts, paint, glass, etc.

■Two in One allows you to measure the color and gloss of the same location at the same time

This measuring instrument is a "Two in One" spectrophotometer that can measure color and gloss simultaneously. Since color and gloss can be measured with one unit, there is no need to prepare a colorimeter and a gloss meter and take measurements in turn, making work more efficient even when measuring a large number of samples.

■Overwhelming measurement speed

The CM-26dG's color measurement time is approximately 0.7 seconds (when measured with SCI or SCE), which is about half of the previous model. Simultaneous color + gloss measurement takes about 1 second (when measured with SCI or SCE + gloss), reducing measurement time and improving work efficiency. Additionally, the measurable intervals are shorter than before, increasing productivity.

■Portable colorimeter with highest level of instrumental error and repeatability

With the diversification of supply chains, the need for data sharing across multiple locations is increasing, and portable colorimeters are also required to have high instrumental error and repeatability. The CM-26dG's instrumental error is ΔE*ab0.12 (12 colors BCRA average) for color, within ±0.2GU (0-10GU) and within ±0.5GU (10-100GU) for gloss. The color repeatability of the CM-26dG is also half that of the previous model, σΔE*ab0.02. It enables digital color data management between factories and with business partners, contributing to more efficient quality control.

■Significantly improved repeatability with low reflectance samples

Piano black finish materials are often used in automobile interiors to enhance the design. Samples with extremely low reflectance, such as piano black, could not be measured reliably with conventional portable measuring instruments due to large repeatability errors. However, this product is equipped with the latest technology to achieve low reflectivity. Stable measurements can be obtained even for reflectance samples.

■Design that pursues operability and handling

・Easy alignment ・Small and lightweight streamlined body that is easy to hold ・Easy for measurement samples

■High usability and full functionality

・Job function ・Easily display the presence or absence of optical brightener and simple inspection ・Standard color automatic selection function ・Wireless communication using Bluetooth® ・Spectrophotometer setting tool CM-CT1 that allows batch settings
