About This Product

■Features

・Capable of supplying current up to ±110V ・12A continuous output current, ・250W continuous power dissipation (at TC=25℃) ・4MHz gain band width product

■Description

The PA22 linear power operational amplifier is specifically designed for high pulse current applications. With a peak current of 13.6A and internal power consumption of 250W, it provides power density not possible with SIP form factors. In addition, the innovative design allows easy connection to heat sinks and provides high performance when connected to a socket. Equipped with temperature sensor and current limit function.

■Notes

・PA22 consists of MOSFET transistors. Use caution when handling ESD (electrostatic discharge). -The internal substrate contains beryllium oxide (BeO). Please do not open the seal. If accidentally damaged, do not crush, machine or process at temperatures above 850°C to avoid generating toxic gases.

■Safe operating area (SOA)

-The PA22's MOSFET output stage is not susceptible to secondary breakdown like bipolar output stages. Only thermal considerations and current handling capabilities limit SOA. ・The output stage is protected from transient flyback by a parasitic diode in the MOSFET structure. -Protected by the structure. However, an external fast recovery diode must be used to protect against sustained high-energy flyback conditions.
