HBM's Zener Barrier Set SD01A is an accessory for use with ground-mounted strain gauge sensors/transducers connected to carrier frequency and DC amplifiers.
■Zener barrier SD01A supports intrinsically safe measurement circuits in hazardous areas
HBM selected the Zener Barrier SD01A to support strain gauge sensors connected to carrier frequency amplifiers and earth-mounted DC amplifiers. Zener barriers are used in instrumentation and control technology to keep small voltages and currents within safe limits.
Zener barriers contain intrinsically safe circuits and are used in conjunction with intrinsically safe devices (e.g. load cells or force transducers) installed within potentially explosive atmosphere areas (hazardous areas).
・Suitable for strain gauge sensors/transducers with 6-wire configuration and 4-gauge bridge circuit
・Available HBM electronics: PMX, ClipX, digiCLIP, MGCplus, PME, MVD, Clip, RM4220
・EC type test certificate: BAS01ATEX7005 (Ex II (1) GD, [Ex ia] IIC)
