About This Product

■Supports intrinsically safe measurement circuits

HBM's Zener Barrier Set SD01A is an accessory for use with ground-mounted strain gauge sensors/transducers connected to carrier frequency and DC amplifiers.

■Zener barrier SD01A supports intrinsically safe measurement circuits in hazardous areas

HBM selected the Zener Barrier SD01A to support strain gauge sensors connected to carrier frequency amplifiers and earth-mounted DC amplifiers. Zener barriers are used in instrumentation and control technology to keep small voltages and currents within safe limits. Zener barriers contain intrinsically safe circuits and are used in conjunction with intrinsically safe devices (e.g. load cells or force transducers) installed within potentially explosive atmosphere areas (hazardous areas). ・Suitable for strain gauge sensors/transducers with 6-wire configuration and 4-gauge bridge circuit ・Available HBM electronics: PMX, ClipX, digiCLIP, MGCplus, PME, MVD, Clip, RM4220 ・EC type test certificate: BAS01ATEX7005 (Ex II (1) GD, [Ex ia] IIC)

High reliability - Three safety barriers optimized for intrinsically safe devices: for all common strain gauge sensors and transducers such as force sensors and load cells ・Protecting and separating Zone 2 non-hazardous areas and hazardous areas according to TÜV99 ATEX 1484 X II 3G Ex nA IIC T4 Gc Declaration of Compliance 2. High safety ・For carrier frequency measurement amplifier or grounded DC sensor power supply ・Available HBM electronics: PMX, ClipX, digiCLIP, MGCplus, PME, MVD, Clip, RM4220 ・Provide detailed technical data including circuit diagrams and wiring diagrams -Specially suitable for HBM sensors and HBM measurement amplifiers 3. Proven time and time again ・Can be installed on DIN rail according to DIN 50022 inside the control cabinet ・EC type test certificate: BAS01ATEX7005 (Ex II (1) GD, [Ex ia] IIC) - Suitable for many process and factory automation applications
