■BK CONNECT FILE IMPORTERS/EXPORTERS and FINITE ELEMENT MODEL INTERFACE (8400-B type - 8400-F type (8718-A, B, C type, 8700 type, 7709 type, successor of 7789 type))
Proprietary test file formats used by PULSE LabShop, Test for I-deas, Sonoscout and Dactron; third-party formats used by HBM, Head Acoustics, etc.; standard such as Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, UFF, ASAM ODS, etc. Import and export test file formats, including finite element (FE) models from Nastran, Ansys, and Abaqus.
By adding these options to your existing 8400 Data Viewer application, you can read files such as legacy platforms, standard and third-party experiment file formats, and FE models. Data is securely transferred to and from the BK Connect® platform without loss or corruption, ensuring continuous and seamless access to all your data, regardless of its origin.
■Finite element (FE) model
Geometric models and results from finite element analysis (FEA) software such as Nastran, Ansys, and Abaqus can be imported for experiment-FEA integration. Combined with BK Connect Modal Analysis and BK Connect Correlation Analysis, it enables test planning, validation, and model correlation analysis.
■Use example
File interface using standard or proprietary experiment file formats:
・Exchange and comparison of data from other Brüel & Kjær systems with BK Connect data
・Exchange and compare data from BK Connect with data from different third-party systems
The FE model interface is used in the following cases:
・Test plan to make a large-scale FE model into an easy-to-handle experimental model
・Verification of test data by comparing experimental and FEA results
- Model correlation to perform a complete correlation analysis between experiments and FEA results
