Air-cooled electrodynamic shaker with high overturning moment. Equipped with an excitation force of 80kN for high-power vibration and shock tests on large devices. Ideal for aerospace/defense/automotive industries. The LDS® V8900 high power shaker is designed to provide unparalleled versatility and testing capabilities. The combination of high power, large displacement, wide frequency range and overturning moment of up to 3kN m allows challenging or unbalanced payloads to be tested as well as smaller payloads. It is suitable for testing with sinusoidal, random, and transient excitations, as well as high-acceleration impact testing.

■Features

The V8900 supports payloads up to 800kg, outputs sinusoidal excitation up to 80kN, and has the functionality of a water-cooled shaker with all the benefits of air cooling. High reliability, low maintenance, and relatively easy installation and operation, it is economical and offers maximum efficiency without compromising quality. For enhanced impact testing and low frequency testing, the V8900 is equipped with a long stroke with a maximum displacement of 101.6mm. The frequency range of 5 to 3,000Hz is suitable for long-term vibration testing and is also suitable for testing on small components. This state-of-the-art design allows the shaker to achieve maximum performance, even when testing payloads with eccentric centers of gravity. The inclusion of hydrostatic bearing technology increases the rigidity of the shaker and enables high overturning moments of up to 3kN m, increasing stability for large and complex payloads without the need for guided head expanders. . This reduces maintenance requirements and minimizes costly downtime as there are no worn rollers or flexures to replace. The electrical, non-optical and non-contact centering system of the moving part ensures accurate movement with minimal maintenance and no interruption to the test, as dust and temperature fluctuations in the test environment do not affect accuracy.
