About This Product

■1/4 inch 4HZ~100KHZ polarized free field microphone

For measuring high sound pressure and high frequency sounds Model 4954 is a polarized 1/4-inch free-field microphone specifically designed for measuring high sound pressure and high frequency sounds. The microphone can be used in harsh environments thanks to the use of a laser-welded stainless steel diaphragm and a stainless steel protective grid.

■Function

- Excellent amplitude and phase matching over a wide range of temperature and humidity. -Advanced manufacturing techniques such as artificial aging and clean room assembly ensure excellent long-term stability and low noise even in harsh environments. ・Pressure adjustment is done through the side vent. ・External polarization is not required and CCLD input can be used using an inexpensive 2-axis cable. The polarized, free-field microphone type 4954 is optimized for a flat free-field response and is suitable for measurements well beyond the audible range. Because of this wide frequency range, the frequency response error in the audible range is typically within ±1 dB.
