About This Product

■Strain gauge with high durability against alternating loads

The M series strain gauges are ideal for frequent load cycles under large strains, use at high temperatures, and for measuring strain in reinforced materials.

■Summary

The M series strain gauges are foil-type strain gauges useful for stress analysis of materials with high fatigue strength such as fiber composites. Can be used for product development in the aerospace and sporting goods industries. Additionally, the M series strain gauges can be used over a very wide measurement temperature range. The strain gauge M series has an extremely long fatigue life, so measurements can be performed extremely frequently. Its durability remains unchanged even under large strains. You can configure the ideal strain gauge by combining characteristics such as shape, resistance value, and measurement grid length as needed. HBM offers over 36 standard strain gauges. ・Temperature range: -200 to +300℃ ・Load cycle: Up to 10 million times (with a fatigue load of ±2,000μm/m) ・Measurement grid length: 1.5-6mm

■Features

・Two types of resistance values (350Ω and 1,000Ω) ・Measuring grid made of special nickel-chromium alloy and carrier made of phenolic resin reinforced with glass fiber.
