About This Product

■Cost-effective strain sensor for force measurement

Proven over the past decades, the SLB series of strain sensors is ideal for applications where robust and cost-effective instrumentation is required, but where the required accuracy level is not extremely high and where precision is not necessarily required. used. The main application areas include basic weighing tasks (e.g. tank weighing) and measurement tasks in production (e.g. press monitoring).

■Strain sensor SLB700: cost-effective sensor for measuring all kinds of high-capacity forces

The SLB700 bolt-on strain sensor utilizes the principle that whenever force is applied to an object, strain occurs. This strain can be reliably measured. Since strain is generally proportional to force, the SLB700A sensor allows you to accurately determine the applied force. The sensor must be calibrated and a quantitative value obtained before measurement. The advantage of this cost-effective sensor is that even extremely high forces can be measured accurately. In addition, it does not affect the dynamic characteristics of the device being measured. SLB700 is a strain sensor. This means that the output signal will be 2.3 times higher than when installing adhesive strain gauges. Therefore, this sensor can be used for objects such as presses that only show slight displacement even when a load is applied. The sensor material is resistant to most oils used in mechanical equipment such as presses, and is also rust resistant.

■Features

1. Practical ・Easy installation with 4 M6 bolts - Oil-resistant, highly flexible cable suitable for cable carriers ・Sensor adjusted to 1,000Ω. Suitable for parallel connection to compensate for undesired mechanical parasitic effects. - Easy to install and use reliably even in harsh production site environments. The advantage of being able to adjust the sensors electrically is that multiple sensors can be attached to one amplifier input. 2. Cost effectiveness A cost-effective alternative to force sensors, especially when high process forces are involved. ・Does not affect the dynamic characteristics of mechanical equipment. A cost-effective alternative to traditional load cells: ideal especially when high process forces are applied and does not affect the dynamics of the mechanical equipment. *There are other features as well.
