About This Product
This is a stock item that has been made possible at a low price by thread groove rolling. We have unprocessed terminals in stock for both fixed and support sides, giving you greater freedom in design. We also have standard stock of stainless steel rolled ball screws (SSR series).
■Accuracy grade and axial clearance
There are two accuracy grades for the SR series (rolled ball screw standard stock item) and SSR series (stainless steel rolled ball screw standard stock item): Ct7 and Ct10 (JIS B 1192-3). We also stock axial clearances of 0.020mm or less (Ct7) and 0.050mm or less (Ct10) depending on the accuracy class.
■Lubrication
The SR series (standard rolled ball screws) and SSR series (stainless steel rolled ball screws) are coated with anti-rust oil to prevent rust when the terminals are unprocessed. Please note that anti-rust oil does not have a lubrication function, so please supply a separate lubricant when using it. Unless otherwise specified, we recommend KSS original grease (MSG No.2).
■Precision rolled ball screw
We can also manufacture rolled ball screws (PSR/PSRT series) that achieve high precision (JIS C5).
■Others
The shaft end shapes of the SR series (standard stock rolled ball screws) and SSR series (standard stock stainless steel rolled ball screws) are not standardized. When making an inquiry, we will receive a specification drawing from the customer and KSS will perform additional machining. We also have a series of ``rolled ball screws with flanges'' in which the fixed end of the shaft can be designed to be thicker than the outside diameter of the screw shaft.
