■Silica for rubber reinforcing fillerRubber reinforcing fillers are compounding agents that combine with rubber to improve the strength (reinforcing properties) of rubber.
"Carbon black (C/B)" is known as a typical rubber reinforcing filler and is used in rubber products that require high strength.
Like carbon black, silica also improves the strength of rubber, so it is commonly called "white carbon."

■Silica for paint/ink matting agentThere are various types of paints and inks, and the required matte state varies depending on the type.
We use our proprietary technology to precisely control aggregate particle size and aggregate structure, and perform appropriate surface modification to provide products that meet diverse user needs. Additionally, we are constantly developing products to meet changing user needs.

■Matte mechanism using silicaWhen wet-processed silica is added to a paint, fine irregularities are formed on the paint film, which diffusely reflects the light that hits the paint film, resulting in a matte paint film.

■Introduction of functional grades (Nip Seal SS series)The "Nip Seal SS Series" is made by hydrophobicizing wet-processed silica using our proprietary technology. Because it has water repellency, it can improve chemical resistance, stain resistance, etc.
It also has the effect of suppressing reactions with other components contained in the paint, contributing to improving the storage stability of the paint.
