About This Product
A hexagon socket head bolt with a lower head (approximately 55 to 65%) compared to general hexagon socket head bolts. Also called low head cap or hexagonal hole cap. Since the low head cap has a low head, there is less interference with other parts and tools when tightening even in narrow spaces, and the protrusion is less noticeable even after tightening. Furthermore, when embedding it into the mating material, the head can be embedded with a shallower counterbore than a general cap bolt, and the head is lower, making it lighter.
These advantages increase the degree of freedom in design, making it an effective screw for making equipment lighter and more compact. There is also a small head type with a 10-30% smaller head diameter. Please note that the hexagon socket (s dimension) is smaller than a normal cap bolt with the same nominal diameter.
