About This Product
Also called special low head cap or hexagon socket cap. This original Bossard product was developed to solve the problem of not wanting to expose the head due to safety and design considerations, but the mating material is too thin to counterbore.
The protrusion after installation is virtually unnoticeable, and it is highly safe, so it is often used in welfare equipment. Ideal for making equipment smaller and lighter, and also reduces installation space. No need for counterboring, which is effective in reducing processes.
Made of stainless steel, developed in response to customer feedback in Japan, it is also heat resistant, corrosion resistant, and chemical resistant. Made of titanium type 2 (pure titanium), it has almost the same strength as stainless steel but is about 40% lighter. There is also a small head type with a 10-23% smaller head diameter.
