About This Product

■Features

The switch can be turned ON/OFF by opening and closing the door. The magnetic catch has a built-in reed switch, allowing for compact integration of holding and detection. The magnet is covered by a resin body, preventing the generation of metal dust.

■Applications

Clean rooms, clean booths, machine tools (equipment covers), office automation equipment, storage rooms, closets, and other security doors.

■Precautions

Avoid using in environments where silicone-based adhesives, oils, or greases are present, as this may cause poor contact. Do not apply load to the lead wires or bend them directly from the lead wire outlet. This may cause damage to the switch. Use M3 pan head screws to mount the magnetic catch body. The tightening torque should be approximately 0.29 N・m (3 kgf/cm). Always use a 3-size flat washer between the product and the screw head. Use M3 countersunk screws to mount the keeper. Also, provide a C1 chamfer on the mounting side. To prevent malfunction of the switch, keep ferromagnetic materials away from surfaces other than the mounting surface and the magnetic surface. If the mounting surface is ferromagnetic, ensure that the entire mounting surface is in contact with the magnetic material during installation. Please use the magnetic catch in a way that prevents direct impact to the catch body when opening and closing the door. If loosening of the screws is a concern, use an anaerobic adhesive such as threadlocker for installation.
