About This Product

The KRS-1560L-4 is a crimping tool for solar connectors Ø 4 mm/.157" similar to MC4™, with open barrel conductor crimping for 1.5 - 2.5, 4.0, 6.0 mm²/AWG 16 - 14, 12, 10. Versions of this tool are also available for MC3™ and SOLARLOK™ connectors. (MC3™ and MC4™ are trademarks owned by Stäubli Electrical Connectors AG of Switzerland. SOLARLOK™ is a trademark owned by TE Connectivity of the United States.)

■Features

・Hardened alloy steel frame construction for increased strength ・Two-hand grip during the final stage of crimping improves grip and productivity ・Unique structure significantly reduces the required hand force compared with competitors' crimping tools ・Versatile and easily converts for right-handed or left-handed use. ・Non-slip pads keep the tool in place even when used against the workpiece surface ・Full-cycle crimping structure guarantees stable, reliable crimps ・Ratchet (pawl) release structure ensures no mis-crimps or other faults are missed ・High-precision eccentric adjustment for calibration with stable performance and capability ・A safety strap can be attached through the hole in the handle ・Each tool has a unique serial number to establish traceability
