About This Product

The Porta is a unique tool that can crimp wire ferrules up to 18 mm long in a single stroke with no adjustment required. Lightweight and compact, the ferrule is inserted from the front of the tool, allowing easy access to confined spaces. The tool features automatic adjustment and forms a trapezoidal crimp profile on wire ferrules of 0.14 to 10.0 mm²/AWG 26 to 8 (conforming to DIN 46228 Parts 1 and 4, or UL 486F).

・Long crimp length of up to 18 mm ・Trapezoidal crimp profile ・Compact design for easy access even in confined spaces ・Ergonomic handles and low handle force for comfortable crimping ・Lightweight and well balanced in the hand ・Small handle opening angle ・Ratchet control ensures completion of the crimp cycle (with emergency release) ・Non-slip grip pads for applying pressure against surfaces ・A safety strap can be attached to the hole in the handle ・Each tool has a unique serial number for traceability
