About This Product

Separates fine magnetic substances in liquids and slurry raw materials.

■Equipment overview

This machine is an electromagnetic wet magnetic filter that sorts at a maximum of 2.8 tesla, so it can sort even materials with weak magnetism. Raw materials are supplied, and the raw materials are processed by repeating a filtration process that adsorbs magnetic substances in the raw materials, and a washing process that washes away the adsorbed magnetic substances with water (batch method). The supply/discharge of raw materials, etc. is controlled by automatic valves.

■Equipment structure

A coil is placed around a filter cylinder filled with media (magnetic pole medium) such as iron balls, and by passing a current through the coil, a magnetic field is generated inside the cylinder and the media is magnetized. The raw material is supplied while the media is magnetized, and the magnetic substances in the raw material are adsorbed and removed (filtration process). The adsorbed magnetic substances are washed away from the cylinder with water, cleaning fluid, etc. after the coil is de-energized and the media is demagnetized (cleaning process). When switching feeds, residual liquid is swept away by air blowing if necessary. During operation, the coil is air-cooled by a fan.

・Removal of trace amounts of iron and weakly magnetic substances in ceramic raw materials and products (e.g. clay, china clay, kaolin, zircon) ・De-iron removal of cold-rolled steel plate rolling oil and cleaning fluid
