Overhead lines and communication cables connected to communication equipment are susceptible to external voltage abnormalities such as lightning surges and induction from power facilities, and are often exposed to dangerous conditions. To limit these abnormal voltages to non-hazardous values, Shoden offers gas arresters suitable for a variety of conditions. It can also be used in conjunction with an arrester tester.
