About This Product
■Product characteristics
Gear pump KF is used to pump various fluids. Due to its modular principle, it can be assembled according to requirements and can be subsequently upgraded, making it unique in its wide variety of ranges. It is also suitable for fluids with low lubricity. The standard housing part is made of gray cast iron.
The gear unit is rigidly constructed from high-strength case-hardened steel and mounted on special composite plain bearing bushes. The standard drive shaft is sealed with a single radial lip type seal. All pump sizes feature a helical gear system, with a special gear geometry that keeps noise levels extremely low and reduces pulsation.
■Driving precautions
・Make sure that the fluid used has a certain level of lubricity. Please also ensure that it does not contain solids and is scientifically compliant.
・Avoid dry running.
- Operate the pump only in the specified direction of rotation. This may cause damage to the shaft seal.
-Install a safety valve on the system or pump to prevent excessive pressurization.
- Please use the relief valve attached to the pump only as a safety valve during short-term operation.
- If part of the discharge flow needs to be drained for a long period of time, a separate external relief valve must be installed on the return line to the reservoir tank.

・Non-drive side bearing for taking in drive side axial load input
・Pressure valves for pumps and systems
・Universal type where the fluid flow direction does not change even if the gear rotation direction changes.
■Special design
For special applications, various shaft ends, gear units, flange mounting types, bearings, multi-stage pumps etc. are available on request.
