About This Product

This product is a sensor for measuring vehicle wheel load and lateral pressure for the purpose of maintaining safe railway transportation.

In recent years, motor control using inverters has become mainstream in order to increase the speed and save energy of railway vehicles. As a result, strong noise is generated, which also affects measurements. Normally, if a strain gauge is used in an environment where electromagnetic induction occurs, the induced voltage will mix in as noise. This non-inductive gauge uses our unique gauge pattern that does not generate induced voltage, allowing measurements to be made without noise.

・No need for complicated bridge wiring when measuring wheel load or lateral pressure
- Significantly improved noise resistance with our unique bridge circuit
・No variation in stress or thermal effects as gauge parts do not overlap
・Multi-layer board is used for the bridge connection, making it more compact and improving noise resistance.
・The cable part has a waterproof structure and does not require waterproofing treatment.
