About This Product

■Supports continuous testing with automatic test piece supply mechanism

A&D's Lambourn abrasion tester not only tests the wear resistance of vulcanized rubber specimens as specified in JIS K6264-2, but also measures the slip rate characteristics of vulcanized rubber through highly accurate friction force and load measurements. You can also.

■High precision 2-component force meter

Frictional force is directly measured by measuring the force that the shaft of the test piece receives in the running direction using a high-precision two-component force meter. This allows for more accurate friction force measurement compared to methods that calculate from a torque meter and specimen radius. The force used to press the test piece against the polishing wheel is also measured using a high-precision two-component force meter. Unlike the general structure in which a load cell is sandwiched between a linear motion mechanism, highly accurate load measurement is possible with no sliding resistance.

■Automatic test piece feeding mechanism

It has a mechanism that automatically supplies test pieces to the test chamber and automatically collects them after testing, allowing continuous testing of up to 96 pieces.

■Rolling resistance measurement

Rolling resistance can be measured by separating the specimen from the motor rotation with a clutch and letting it roll freely on the polishing wheel.
